Vignette - " Lost and found "

1/35 scale vignette named "Lost and found " featuring IBG howitzer Škoda 100mm model 14/19, modified resin figure converting into late WW2 period Yugoslav partisan , Telomimetico Italian poncho/tent sheet from MedicosD-tails and wooden fence built in scratch.

Name of the vignette comes from very interesting history of use this particular piece during the WW2 fighting in Yugoslavia.

Odyssey started in Austro-Hungarian empire produced by Škoda factory as Model 14, by the end of WW1 Serbian army took in possession number of those guns ...some captured and some handed over afther capitulation. Later on in mid war period it was modified (in Škoda factory) into model 14/19 with longer barrel. After invasion of Yugoslavia in April of 1941 German and Italian forces took over those howitzers. During 1943 after Italian capitulation Yugoslav partisan forces captured number of different artillery pieces among them Škoda 14/19 from ex Yugoslav arsenal... Lost and found !

Some Italian pieces was captured ... interestingly enough by Brasillian Army during invasion of Germany so one of those ex Yugoslav Škoda 14/19 is displayed in museum in Rio de Janeiro !
